Virginia Republican candidate for Senate Ed Gillespie released a new campaign ad Friday called “Lost His Way.”
The ad continues on the strict messaging plan of Gillespie’s by hitting Sen. Mark Warner, D-Va., on his votes in the Senate. Gillespie has routinely made an issue of Warner’s 97 percent voting record with President Obama.
The ad also features Gillespie touting his economic plan, which he believes is the best plan for Virginia residents. Gillespie is shown on screen arguing for tax relief and lower energy costs.
Gillespie has made up ground during the campaign; however, the RealClearPolitics average has the Republican down 13 percentage points to Warner.
