LOS ANGELES (AP) — Firefighters quickly doused a blaze in a six-story building in downtown Los Angeles, but a hazardous materials team has been summoned when a drug operation was discovered inside.
LA city fire spokesman Eric French said some 88 firefighters put out the fire in 14 minutes after flames were reported coming from the building’s third floor on Thursday night.
