Katherine Heigl and her husband, singer-songwriter Josh Kelley, will be honored for their commitment to adoption and foster care at the National Angels in Adoption gala. The couple, who were married in 2007, have two adopted children of their own. People Magazine was also named as an honoree for the gala, which will take place on Sept. 12 at the Ronald Reagan Building in D.C. The Congressional Coalition on Adoption Institute will be hosting the gala.
