Illinois woman charged in sister’s stabbing death

CARPENTERSVILLE, Ill. (AP) — A northeastern Illinois woman has been charged with murder in the stabbing death of her sister.

Carpentersville police say 53-year-old Sandra Baumgartner was charged Wednesday with three counts of first-degree murder. Her sister, 57-year-old Sharon Baumgartner, died Monday.
