Sen. Amy Klobuchar dismantled Bernie Sanders’s vision for Medicare for All by pointing out that, all of its theoretical problems aside, it isn’t practical because most Democrats don’t support it.
To illustrate the point, she echoed some advice she had recently received while visiting Vegas: “Don’t put your chips on a number on the wheel that isn’t even on the wheel.” Medicare for All, she said, is just a pipe dream because most Democrats in Congress don’t support it.
