The Republican National Committee is pulling out of a joint fundraising agreement with embattled Republican Alabama Senate candidate Roy Moore, according to an updated Federal Election Commission document dated Tuesday.
The RNC is also planning to cancel a field program of about a dozen paid canvassers working their way through Alabama for Moore, Politico reported.

RNC Chairwoman Ronna Romney McDaniel will reportedly brief the committee members on the decision Tuesday evening during a conference call.
The move comes less than a week after a Washington Post report alleging Moore pursued sexual relationships with four teenage girls, one of which was 14 years-old at the time, while he was in his 30s. On Monday, a fifth accuser came forward alleging Moore sexually abused her while she was 16 years-old.
Moore maintains that he committed no wrongdoing, but he is facing mounting pressure to pull out of the special election.
