Clinton Campaign Manager: Hillary Will Be ‘Exciting’

Hillary Clinton’s campaign manager asserted on CNN Tuesday the likely Democratic nominee is “exciting.” Speaking with host Alisyn Camerota, Robby Mook argued Clinton’s plans on health care and college affordability were what will excite voters as the Democratic primary wraps up.

Camerota noted that Bernie Sanders’s message inspires a lot of excitement in people, and asked, “Hillary Clinton has been lately talking about how bad Donald Trump is. What will be her message to excite people after tomorrow?”

Mook said that Clinton would be the first female nominee for president of a major party is “exciting,” adding, “that’s a big part of why I’m on this campaign.” He then added that Clinton has the “incredible” opportunity to “provide health care for everybody,” “make sure families can afford college again.”

“We face a crossroad as a country. Are we going to move forward or are we going to go backwards? I think we have a tremendous opportunity to keep this country moving forward,” said Mook.
