The terrorist organization Hamas released footage on Friday of its soldiers carrying children and toddlers during its surprise attack on Israel on Saturday.
The war has resulted in the deaths of at least 2,500 people total, including at least 27 Americans. Thousands of others have been injured or captured. Israel declared war against Hamas over the weekend after the attack.

It’s not clear how many hostages Hamas has taken, though the number has been estimated to be between 100 and 150 civilians and soldiers.
The footage shows terrorists carrying the children out of their homes, without the children’s parents in frame. Some men have the children on their laps, and one scene shows a soldier rocking a baby in the baby’s stroller. In other shots, viewers can see soldiers having children on one side and still carrying their guns.
The video stems from the first day of the conflict, which saw thousands of missiles launched at Israel on the same day as a holy holiday for the Jewish faith. The first day of attacks also saw a ground attack, which included a massacre at an Israeli music festival.
The video comes after Israel released graphic images of slain civilians, including children, on Thursday.

Secretary of State Antony Blinken said he was shown images of the children and infants who were allegedly killed by Hamas when he arrived in Israel on Thursday.
“It’s simply depravity in the worst imaginable way,” Blinken said. “Images are worth a thousand words. These images may be worth a million.”
