The first round of questions at the second Republican presidential debate surrounded whether Donald Trump could be taken seriously as a candidate.

“I have actually been in politics all my life, I was on the other side,” Trump said. “I’m number one in every poll by a lot,” he added.

Trump said virtually everything he’s done has been a tremendous success, noting that he left Atlantic City before it went under.

“I want to put that ability in our country and make America great again,” he said.

Jeb Bush made his opening remarks on Democrats and the fact that Hillary Clinton and President Obama have caused insecurity around the world, but also exchanged words with Trump.

When Gov. Scott Walker (R-Wisc.) hit him on the fact that his casinos failed, Trump said he only used the system four times and slammed the Wisconsin governor back.

“When the people of Wisconsin found out that there was a huge budget deficit, I went up in the polls and you went down,” Trump said.
