A man injured four people when he intentionally plowed his car into them, Prince George’s County police said.

The four adults were hit around 3 a.m. Monday while standing outside a shopping center on the 1400 block of University Parkway in Chillum. A man and a woman were taken to the hospital with serious injuries but are expected to recover, police spokesman Officer Henry Tippett said. Two adults suffered minor injuries, Tippett added.

The driver was arrested, but Tippett said he did not have any details on the charges.

He said there was a dispute between the driver and at least one person in the crowd, but couldn’t say how or why the dispute started.
