Matt Gaetz’s father running for return to Florida Senate
Former Republican Florida state Sen. Don Gaetz, father of Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL), is eyeing a return to the state Senate in 2024.
The older Gaetz, who served in the chamber from 2006 to 2016, is running for the seat in District 1, according to the Associated Press. He told the outlet he is running to make the Sunshine State more affordable.
