Houthi rebels release video showing seizure of cargo ship in Red Sea
Yemen’s Houthi rebels have released video footage the group said is of their successful attempt to seize an Israeli-linked cargo ship in the Red Sea over the weekend.
The Iranian-backed rebels said it hijacked the Bahamas-flagged car carrier Galaxy Leader, which is owned by Ray Car Carriers, over its connection to Israel, and they took the 25-person crew hostage. The vessel is operated by a Japanese firm but has ties to Israeli businessman Abraham Ungar.
