“Sex in the City” star Sarah Jessica Parker endorsed her castmate Cynthia Nixon in her bid to unseat incumbent Gov. Andrew Cuomo in the New York Democratic primary.
Parker endorsed Nixon in a post on Instagram Thursday, calling her “My sister on and off screen.”
“You have my love, support and vote,” Parker wrote to Nixon.
Kristin Davis, who also starred in a lead role on the hit HBO show with Parker and Nixon from 1998 to 2004 endorsed Nixon earlier this month.
Nixon has put LGBT issues and public education at the center of her campaign, and has gone on offense calling Gov. Cuomo “Andrew the bully,” comparing him to President Trump.
