Prince George’s County police are looking for the man who robbed a PNC Bank in Beltsville.
Police said a man entered the bank, located on the 10400 block of Baltimore Avenue, at about 5 p.m. on Aug. 3 and posed as a customer.
He handed the teller a note demanding cash. The teller complied and gave the suspect an undetermined amount of cash, police said.
The man then fled on foot toward the rear of a nearby shopping center.
No one was injured in the incident.
Cpl. Henry Tippett, a Prince George’s County police spokesman, said the robbery is thought to be an isolated incident and not connected to any other area crimes.
No arrests have been made, and police do not have any other information about the suspect other than a description, Tippett said.
Police described the suspect as a black man about 30 to 40 years old. He is described as being between 6 feet 2 inches and 6 feet 4 inches tall and weighing between 200 and 230 pounds. He has a medium-to-dark complexion.
The suspect was last seen wearing a white polo shirt and khaki pants.
