Neighbor discusses defendants as Wone trial resumes

The trial of the three men accused of covering up the killing of attorney Robert Wone resumed Monday morning after a week-long recess.

Prosecutors said they have nine more witnesses and expect to finish presenting their case against Joseph Price, Dylan Ward and Victor Zaborsky Wednesday. The trial is in its fourth week.

The first witness this morning was Scott Hixson, a friend and neighbor of the defendants. So far, he has testified about the relationships among the defendants, his encounter with the men the morning after Wone’s death (on Aug. 2, 2006) and a burglary that occurred at their Dupont Circle townhouse in October 2006.
