Eric Trump: Dems will ‘investigate everybody’ if they win the House

Eric Trump warned Thursday that if Democrats take over the House, they’ll do everything they can to investigate the Trump administration to distract from his father’s successful agenda.

“You watch the level of harassment,” Eric Trump said on Fox News. “If the House flips, they’ll be investigating you, they’ll be investigating … they’ll investigate everybody. That’s what these people do.”

“They weaponize a legal system? They will come after everybody, relentlessly,” he said. “They’ll know that there’s nothing there, but it’s harass, it’s distract, they’ll plant every story.”

Trump said his father ran for office because people are tired of the “cruel” and “nasty” tactics that politicians use against each other.

“The swamp is deep, guys,” Trump said. “The swamp is deeper than you can ever imagine.”

President Trump’s alleged ties to Russia has been a major focus of special counsel Robert Mueller’s ongoing investigation. Mueller is widely expected to wrap up his investigation soon after the midterm elections, although his office has not said anything explicit about how much longer it might last.
