James Carville, the original “Ragin Cajun,” has joined with angry Democrats to back the party’s bid to take back Congress and in the process “defeat the GOP and wipe the smarmy smirks off their faces.”
In a hotly worded fundraiser for the Democratic group American Bridge 21st Century, the former top political adviser to former President Bill Clinton and his wife Hillary, vented his anger with the GOP just days after Brett Kavanaugh was confirmed to the Supreme Court despite near universal Democratic opposition.
“I’m full of seething-hot rage, team,” he wrote in the email fundraiser.
He warned that the Republicans, led by President Trump, are rallying their party and that the Democrats have to match that.
He also clawed at the GOP when he wrote, “Donate now and help us raise $10,000 this week so we can defeat the GOP and wipe the smarmy smirks off their faces.”

Republicans are on a mission to destroy every bit of progress we’ve made, no matter how many people get hurt in the process.
