Clip of Rudy Giuliani mocking Asian accents accidentally uploaded to his YouTube account

President Trump’s personal attorney Rudy Giuliani got caught using a mocking Asian accent in an extended portion of a YouTube video, which was posted on Wednesday.

Giuliani’s remarks came after he finished interviewing former White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer for his podcast, Common Sense, according to the Daily Beast.

A version of the video showed extended footage, in which Giuliani was conversing with people at his desk, unaware that cameras were still rolling. The extended video showed a black screen, followed by a brief appearance of Spicer, then footage of Giuliani conversing with his team.

In the clip, Giuliani addresses a woman called Jayne Zirkle, who appears to work with him in some capacity. Zirkle also has more than 5,000 subscribers on her own YouTube channel, but no videos, suggesting she may have recently deleted them.

As the woman attempts to talk to Giuliani about how his interview went, the former mayor of New York starts riffing about how Zirkle would be the “most famous model in China,” before lapsing into a stereotypical accent, even invoking a bow in praising Zirkle.

“Ah, get me Jayne Zirkle,” Giuliani said while using the accent.

Giuliani continued to say Zirkle’s name in the mocking accent, pantomiming a bow and laughing as his team tries to get him to focus back on the interview.

“What would you like to have for dinner?” Giuliani says in his normal voice, then adds, “Jayne Zirkle pickup, Jayne Zirkle pickup” in the accent.

“I want Jayne Zirkle pickup. Picture Jayne Zirkle,” he continues, using the accent. “No one but Jayne Zirkle.”

“Ah so, Jayne Zirkle,” Giuliani says, again in the accent.

The video has since been removed, but not before some media outlets circulated the video. Giuliani has not commented on the matter.
