Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton reportedly sprained her hand Monday as she was walking down stairs while touring a palace in India.
Video of Clinton posted online shows her slipping twice. During the first fall, Clinton was holding onto the arm of a man helping her walk down the uneven stairs. Clinton used her right hand to help her brace for the fall.
Another man walks up the stairs to hold onto Clinton’s right arm as she finishes walking down the steps, but Clinton slipped again about three steps later.
The Times of India reported Tuesday that Clinton had to cancel some of her events as a result of the injury. A team of doctors from a nearby hospital advised Clinton to rest.
The former Democratic presidential nominee is in the country to promote her book, What Happened, about her stunning loss to President Trump.
Clinton’s sprain comes just months after she fell down stairs and broke her toe during her book tour in London.
