Stormy Daniels’ husband accuses porn star of adultery, seeks custody of daughter

Stormy Daniels’ husband is accusing the porn star of adultery and wants sole custody of their 7-year-old daughter, according to court documents.

Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, and her husband Glendon Crain, a heavy-metal drummer who has also worked in the porn industry, have been married since November 2015, the divorce filing says. Crain filed for divorce last week in Kaufman County, Texas, and sought a temporary restraining order against Daniels.

Michael Avenatti, who is representing Daniels in her lawsuit against President Trump, announced the divorce filing Monday on Twitter, but disputed claims made in the court documents.

“A petition for divorce was filed last week, the accuracy of which is vehemently disputed. Stormy’s daughter remains her number one priority. She kindly asks for privacy for the sake of her family,” Avenatti said.

Daniels added hours later that she doesn’t actually want privacy.

“I want truth. And it will come out. I’m not afraid,” she tweeted.

The couple had been living together in Texas until July 11. Daniels was arrested a day later in Ohio for illegally touching customers while she was performing at a strip club. Daniels’ lawyer called the charges, which were later dropped, “politically motivated.”

“The marriage has become insupportable because of discord or conflict of personalities,” says part of the petition, published by the Smoking Gun. It adds that Daniels “has committed adultery.”

Crain alleges in the divorce petition that Daniels purchased a plane ticket for their young daughter to join her on her tour performing at strip clubs across the country.

“This will involve the child being on her tour bus with other adult performers and producers,” the petition read. “This will place my child in eminent threat of serious and immediate physical or emotional harm.”

Crain was granted a temporary restraining order against Daniels, prohibiting the porn star from contacting her daughter or accessing the family’s home and cars where they live near Dallas, Reuters reported. A hearing on whether to extend the terms of the restraining order is scheduled for Friday.

Crain is seeking full custody of their daughter, as well as child support, possession of their house and a “disproportionate share” of their assets, Reuters said.
