Since its founding, the Chinese Communist Party has detained millions of its own citizens and sent them to facilities to be reeducated in the ways of advancing the communist agenda. In recent years, approximately 1 million Chinese Uighurs in the Xinjiang province have been detained in modern-day concentration camps for the crime of practicing their Islamic faith.
My guest today is Olivia Enos, senior policy analyst at the Asian Studies Center at the Heritage Foundation.
