‘Wisconsin ain’t theirs’: ‘Bikers for Trump’ descends upon Democratic convention to show support for president

A group of motorcycle enthusiasts who call themselves “Bikers for Trump” descended upon Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Wednesday to show support for President Trump during the Democratic National Convention.

“We don’t want them to think that because they have their convention here, that they took Wisconsin,” one of the bikers told WTMJ-TV. “Wisconsin ain’t theirs. It’s ours.”

The group of roughly 150 bikers arrived outside the convention perimeter around 4 p.m. Wednesday. They sang the national anthem and recited the Pledge of Allegiance before dispersing.

“We’re not concerned about their convention,” the biker added. “We wanted to show our presence and support for our president, Donald Trump. They come into Milwaukee, which is fine. That’s their prerogative. They’re having their convention, it’s not a big deal … but we want to show support for our president.”

Trump carried Wisconsin in 2016, beating former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, who famously declined to travel to the state in the waning weeks of the presidential cycle, by a margin of 47.22% to 46.45%.

The “Bikers for Trump” group has been vocal in its support of the president, dating all the way back to his inauguration in 2017, which it attended in force to protect the president from any security threats.

“The bikers are certainly used to being outnumbered, and we are prepared to form a wall of meat,” one of the bikers told Fox News at the time, promising to stand “shoulder-to-shoulder with their brothers and toe-to-toe with anyone.”
