President Trump knocked former Vice President Joe Biden during the final presidential debate over recent news stories tying him to his son Hunter’s business dealings in Ukraine.
“You’re the big man, I think,” Trump told Biden Thursday night on the debate stage in Nashville, Tennessee. “Your son said we have to give 10% to the ‘big man.’ Joe, what’s that all about? It’s terrible.”

“All of the emails, the emails, the horrible emails of the kind of money that you were raking in, you and your family. … I think you owe an explanation to the American people,” Trump added, in reference to the multiple reports suggesting possible impropriety with Hunter Biden’s foreign business and allegations Joe Biden was involved.
The “big man” comment was an apparent reference to an email obtained by the New York Post that appears to show communication between Hunter Biden and an associate of a consulting firm discussing a Shanghai-based energy conglomerate.
The email outlined a “provisional agreement” under which 80% of shares in the new company would be dispersed equally among four people including “H,” which allegedly refers to Hunter Biden.
The email also says, “10 held by H for the big guy?”
Hunter Biden’s ex-business partner, Tony Bobulinski, has gone on the record claiming that the “big guy” was a reference to Joe Biden.
“I’ve seen Vice President Biden saying he never talked to Hunter about his business,” Bobulinski said. “I’ve seen firsthand that that’s not true, because it wasn’t just Hunter’s business; they said they were putting the Biden family name and its legacy on the line.”
Biden has flatly denied any wrongdoing as it relates to his son Hunter’s business dealings, calling the accusations a “desperate smear campaign.”
“I have not taken a penny from any foreign source ever in my life,” Biden said during the debate.
