Actor Kevin Spacey pleaded not guilty to five charges of sex crimes, some dating back nearly 20 years, in a British court on Thursday.
The 62-year-old is accused of four counts of sexual assault by touching and one count of causing a person to engage in penetrative sexual activity without consent, with Spacey allegedly forcing a man to perform oral sex.

If found guilty, the punishment for the sexual assault charges could be six months in prison or an unlimited fine, and the punishment for the other charge could be as much as life in prison.
The alleged assaults took place from 2005 to 2013 in England, according to police.
Spacey was dropped from various movies and television shows, including House of Cards, in 2017 after multiple allegations of sexual harassment and assault were made against him.
