Several Hollywood celebrities with large Twitter followings reacted to former Vice President Joe Biden’s primary win in Michigan with calls for Democrats to unite behind him in hopes of beating President Trump in November.
“The survival of Democracy depends on the removal of the most Criminally Corrupt President in our Nation’s history,” filmmaker and actor Rob Reiner posted on Twitter late Tuesday night. “It’s time to put our differences aside and celebrate what unites US by coalescing behind Joe Biden. This Nov. let’s blow the Sick Liar away.”

Singer Barbra Streisand reacted to Biden’s big night by giving the former senator a total endorsement.
“I wholeheartedly endorse Joe Biden for President,” she said on Twitter. “Trump must be beaten in November before he does more damage to our democracy, environment, for our health and safety and standing in the world.”

Actress Rosie O’Donnell also voiced her support for Biden on Tuesday night with a tweet using the hashtag #BidenForPresident.

Actor Michael Ian Black said Biden is the candidate who can beat Trump in November.
“With a similar resume, 2016 Hillary underperformed 2020 Biden in the primaries,” he said. “This tells me that, more than any other factor, gender cost her the general victory, and if that is true, Biden should win this time. Also, we now have irrefutable proof that Trump is a fucking idiot.”

Biden won Michigan’s Tuesday primary with a final result of 52.9% of voters supporting his campaign compared to 36.4% for Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders.
Biden also won in Idaho, Mississippi, and Missouri on Tuesday night, growing his delegate lead over Sanders, which currently sits at 847 to 685.
