Gorka predicts progress on Korean War, denuclearization at North Korea summit

Former White House aide Sebastian Gorka said Monday that he expects the Tuesday’s summit with North Korea to achieve two major deliverables: a move toward formally ending the Korean War, and some movement on that country’s nuclear program.

“Number one is going to be something very large and symbolic that relates to the Korean War and how we can just tie a bow on that conflict and hopefully shut it down,” Gorka said on Fox News Monday.

“And then secondly is the far more tactical operational level of technical issue to do with denuclearization, specifically the weapons program that North Korea currently has and the ballistic missile technology,” he said.

Gorka, who is now a national security expert for Fox, indicated those are two key issues being discussed that could lead to progress Monday and during the summit Tuesday.
