MCCORMICK TO ADD CONSTELLATION SOLAR ARRAY
McCormick & Co. will add a one-megawatt solar power array to its Hunt Valley warehouse, to be built and operated by Constellation Energy’s Projects & Services Group, the company announced Friday.
The array at McCormick’s Spice Mill and Distribution Center is expected to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 1,000 tons annually and reduce electricity use at the facility by 30 percent.
“This solar power system is another tangible sign of our commitment to sustainability,” McCormick President and CEO Alan Wilson said in a statement.
