EL PASO, Texas (AP) — El Paso police have charged a Fort Bliss soldier with capital murder after they say he beat his 2-year-old daughter to death because she soiled her diaper.

Police Det. Mike Baranyay says 20-year-old Dartarious Graham was arrested on Sunday. He says the U.S. Army specialist beat his daughter Peyton Graham with a belt. Firefighters were called to the home on Saturday and found her unresponsive.
