“Desperate Housewives” star Eva Longoria waxed political on Tuesday’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live!,” talking about her meeting with President Obama at a Monday-night fundraiser and her opinion of his job performance. “It’s a special privilege to meet our commander-in-chief, I’m a big Obama supporter no matter what he’s been through,” she told Kimmel, going on to add that Obama “keeps getting beat up lately because there’s such an extremist movement, and for me, it’s very dangerous because it’s not the character of America.” Longoria went on to say that the president has “been governing in a state of emergency since he came into office, so we haven’t really seen him do what he can do.”
