President Trump met rapper Lil Wayne on Thursday.

Wayne tweeted a photo of the two together standing in front of American flags, describing what they discussed.

“Just had a great meeting with @realdonaldtrump @potus besides what he’s done so far with criminal reform, the platinum plan is going to give the community real ownership,” the music artist tweeted. “He listened to what we had to say today and assured he will and can get it done.”

The Platinum Plan, unveiled last month by the Trump team, is geared toward giving a financial boost to the black community.

White House deputy press secretary Judd Deere confirmed to the Washington Examiner that the pair had a meeting on Thursday, but further details about the encounter were not provided. Trump retweeted Wayne’s tweet too.

During his time in office, Trump has had high-profile interactions with another famous rapper: Kanye West. The two even met in the Oval Office in 2018. West, along with his wife, Kim Kardashian, has worked with the president to promote criminal justice reform. West is now a third-party candidate for president.

Rapper 50 Cent also expressed his support for the president but appeared to retract it quickly. In the caption of an Instagram post on Oct. 13, he said, “WHAT THE F—! (VOTE ForTRUMP) IM OUT.” On Saturday, he tweeted, “F— Donald Trump, I never liked him.”

Wayne has come under fire on multiple occasions for controversial comments he’s made about racial issues. In 2016, Wayne said there is “no such thing as racism.” Rapper Vic Mensa called him “selfish and ignorant,” and T.I. called the comment “absolutely unacceptable.”
