Before her husband’s very important announcement on Sunday night, first lady Michelle Obama dined with three female friends at the BlackSalt Fish Market & Restaurant in the Palisades. The ladies tried a variety of dishes including the Rhode Island golden tilefish, halibut, clams, the beet salad and coconut cream pie. While most celebrities were in town for the White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner, rapper Snoop Dogg hosted a Friday night event of his own called Snoopbiza at Ibiza Nightclub in NoMa.
Meanwhile, Thursday night at Equinox, country music sensation Carrie Underwood was seen having an early, and healthy, dinner with about nine of her staff. A Yeas & Nays spy tells us the gorgeous gal ordered haricot verts with toasted almonds and heirloom tomatoes as her entree. She was dressed casually in jeans, a tan-colored T-shirt and shades.
