'I’m worried about it': Joy Behar is 'concerned' about Warren's chances in general election against Trump

The View‘s Joy Behar expressed doubt with how 2020 Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Elizabeth Warren would do in the general election against President Trump.

The show’s Tuesday episode included a conversation that began with the hosts discussing reports that former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg is considering entering the race.

“Clearly there are Democrats behind closed doors, a lot of them on Wall Street, the big money people saying, ‘We are concerned. We don’t think we have the right person.’ This is apparently what’s happening because you have more and more people jumping into the race,” Abby Huntsman stated.

She turned to her co-host and said, “Joy, I find your take on this so interesting because you’ve been a lifelong Democrat and your main mission is to get Trump out of office. You’re concerned about Elizabeth Warren.”

“I am,” Behar responded to cheers from the crowd. “I’m not alone. A lot of people want him out. As I was saying in the makeup room this morning, I’m a very pragmatic liberal. I want to win.”

She added, “Elizabeth Warren is scary in terms of she promises things and people may not buy it. I like Elizabeth Warren. I did from the beginning. I’m a liberal. I like what she’s saying if she can pull it off. I’m worried about it, that’s all.”

Warren currently sits in second, only behind former Vice President Joe Biden, in RealClearPolitics average polling.
