WATCH: Waterfall in Ireland flows up instead of down during high winds

A hiker in Ireland captured what appeared to be a waterfall flowing upward because of high winds.

The film was captured by hiker Garry McNabb at the Cliffs of Moher. The video shows the chute spraying into the air as it drops from the steep cliff.

Wind can be heard buffeting the camera as a group of hikers gathered at the top of the grass-covered peak.

The phenomenon is known to happen and has been captured on film in Ireland in the past during periods of high wind.
