Donald Trump is apparently striking back at MSNBC host and former GOP congressman Joe Scarborough.
“Joe Scarborough initially endorsed Jeb Bush and Jeb crashed, then John Kasich and that didn’t work,” Trump wrote Friday on Twitter, referring to two candidates who have withdrawn from the race. “Not much power or insight!”

In another Twitter message, Trump said he believes Scarborough “is pushing hard for a third party candidate to run. This will guarantee a Crooked Hillary win.”
“Crooked Hillary” is a nickname Trump has given to Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton.
Scarborough on his MSNBC show “Morning Joe” had stated throughout the primary that he preferred Bush and Kasich for the nomination. Many journalists and media critics have said, however, that they think Scarborough’s commentary revealed he was, at heart, a Trump supporter.
Even so, on his show Thursday, Scarborough said he would not vote for the billionaire businessman if he didn’t moderate certain policy positions.
“I’m just not going to vote for a guy like that,” Scarborough said, after referring to Trump’s controversial proposal to ban all foreign Muslims from entering the U.S.
MSNBC did not return a request for comment.
