The gender ideology that controls the Democratic Party dictates that gender-confused children must be freed from their own parents so that they can pursue irreversible sex change surgeries. That same ideology controls establishment media, which dutifully vilifies parents to help the process.
Washington became the latest state to pass a law that would wrest children from their parents to help them pursue irreversible hormone therapies, puberty blockers, and sex change surgeries that they can’t consent to. Several other Democrat-run states have passed similar laws, including California, Colorado, New Jersey, and Vermont. Democrats have sprinted past enabling irreversible sex changes for children and are now
actively
undermining parents who want to protect their children from such horrors.
Just as alarming, though, is the conformity of the establishment media. There is no skepticism from journalists, no attempt to report anything even resembling questions about such irreversible procedures for children. Instead, you see things like the Associated Press’s
headline
from Tuesday: “Trans minors protected from parents under Washington law.”
Here is what “protecting” gender-confused children from their parents looks like, according to the Associated Press: “Licensed shelters and host homes in Washington had generally been required to notify parents within 72 hours when a minor came into their care. Under the new law, facilities can instead contact the state Department of Children, Youth and Families.”
Yes, keeping parents in the dark about their runaway children and instead handing them off to a state bureaucracy that will let them harm themselves is apparently not an utterly insane policy. It is simply “protecting” transgender children from their own parents.

This is the same Associated Press that has
claimed
that laws preventing doctors from performing irreversible sex change procedures on children are “erasing trans people” and erasing “trans people’s legal existence.” These are claims that you would expect from the mouth of an unhinged activist, and yet they are coming directly from the Associated Press in its so-called news articles.
This complicity in state kidnappings of children is not journalism. It is pure, unbridled activism from a media class that has openly thrown objectivity to the wind and taken sides with transgender extremists. It is wildly irresponsible, and yet the Associated Press and other outlets continue to push it while pretending to care about honest journalism.
