CBP captures more than $1.2 million in meth at Texas border

Officers with U.S. Customs and Border Protection captured more than $1.2 million worth of methamphetamine Wednesday at the Texas-Mexico border.

The seizure occurred at the Juarez-Lincoln Bridge at the Laredo Port of Entry when at least one CBP officer spotted a bus attempting to enter the United States and referred it for a secondary inspection, according to a CBP release.
