White House press secretary Sarah Sanders will receive security from the Secret Service temporarily as early as this week, according to media reports.
The protection could start on Wednesday, but it’s uncertain how long the protection will continue, CNN reports.
“For operational security purposes, the Secret Service does not comment on its protective operation,” the Secret Service told CNN.
NBC News also reported that Secret Security would provide security at Sanders home.

Sanders was requested to leave the Red Hen restaurant in Lexington, Va., on Friday by the restaurant’s owner, Stephanie Wilkinson.
Wilkinson said her decision to ask Sanders to leave was made after conferring with her staff and was due to her role in the Trump administration.
“I’m not a huge fan of confrontation,” Wilkinson told the Washington Post. “I have a business, and I want the business to thrive. This feels like the moment in our democracy when people have to make uncomfortable actions and decisions to uphold their morals.”
Sanders addressed the episode on Monday.
“I was asked to leave because I worked for President Trump,” Sanders told reporters at the White House press briefing.
“We are allowed to disagree but we should be able to do so freely and without fear of harm, and this goes for all people regardless of politics,” she added, noting, “Healthy debate on ideas and political philosophy is important, but the calls for harassment and push for any Trump supporter to avoid the public is unacceptable.”
