Moooove over, Indy 500: Cows and bull reported on the loose in Indianapolis

Cows and a bull in Indiana milked some freedom from the farm Thursday — at least until they got caught.

The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department responded to the scene at about 11:20 a.m. after residents reported that the animals had been roaming the area for about an hour.

One resident was stuck in their garage due to the incident, according to the Indianapolis Star, citing police radio communications.

Cows have gotten loose on the road before, as well as elsewhere in that area. In 2019, a cow was found roaming busy roads in Hamilton County and, after crossing one street, appeared to be heading toward Chick-fil-A.
