Donald Trump is willing to make a deal with Hillary Clinton in order to get the former State secretary to release thousands of misplaced or emails. The Republican nominee told Fox News late Tuesday he would release his tax returns if his Democratic rival dropped thousands of likely deleted emails from her time in the State Department.
“She [Clinton] has 33,000 emails that she deleted. When is she going to release her emails? Let her release her emails and I will release my tax returns immediately,” Trump told host Bill O’Reilly. “With that said I released almost 100 pages of financials to the FEC and they are detailed. Fact is, you get very little information from the tax return, Bill.”
O’Reilly asked Trump if his running mate Mike Pence’s choice to air his finances had put pressure on him to follow suit.
“Not at all,” Trump responded late Tuesday from a rall in Greenville, N.C. “Nobody cares about it except some of the folks in the media … so you understand I am under audit. Routine audit. When the audit is complete I will release my returns. I have no problem with it.”
