The Department of Justice is close to reaching a settlement with the sexual abuse victims of former U.S. gymnastics team doctor Larry Nassar.

According to the Wall Street Journal, the DOJ is expected to pay roughly $100 million to 100 victims of Nassar. The settlement was reportedly reached last fall, but the details are still being finalized. The settlement is in response to administrative tort claims filed by the gymnasts over the FBI’s failure to properly investigate the abuse claims against Nassar.
