RFK Jr. calls November a ‘two person’ race in scathing rebuke of Kamala Harris

President Joe Biden is extending United States Secret Service protection to Robert F. Kennedy Jr., the independent candidate running for the White House in 2024.

Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said it was a “two person race” after President Joe Biden dropped out of the presidential campaign.

Biden endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris for the Democratic nomination, after dropping out. Kennedy, speaking at a press conference on Sunday, said that he is “content” with the position he is in with regard to the presidential election.

“I am very content running where I am, and I believe I can win this election. I believe at this point it’s a two man – or two person race. Let me put it that way, and you know that I’m in the best position to win,” Kennedy said.

He also added he would consider taking part in an open Democratic National Convention, if the “party elders” come to him and said he is “the only presidential candidate who can beat Donald Trump.” Kennedy initially ran in the Democratic presidential primary, before changing to an independent campaign.
