Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas said former President Donald Trump’s Secret Service protection is comparable to that of President Joe Biden following the second assassination attempt over the weekend.
Mayorkas told attendees at a Politico summit Tuesday afternoon in Washington that the DHS agency had increased the Republican presidential nominee’s level of protection.
