Cuccinelli to talk about legal challenges to “Obamacare”

Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli be part of a panel discussing legal challenges to the federal health-care overhaul Thursday at the conservative Washington Legal Foundation.

Cuccinelli was in court earlier this week when a judge in Richmond heard arguments on Virginia’s legal challenge to the health-care reforms.

Cuccinelli is scheduled to be joined by Walter Dellinger, formerly Assistant Attorney General under Bill Clinton, and David B. Rivkin Jr., former general counsel to the President’s Council on Competitiveness at the White House during the Clinton administration.

The panel will be moderated by Dick Thornburgh, who previously served as the governor of Pennsylvania and U.S. Attorney General in the cabinets of Ronald Reagan and George H.W. Bush.

The briefing is titled “The States v. ‘Obamacare’: Legal Challenges to the Health Reform Law and how they are faring in court.”
