WASHINGTON (AP) — A judge has released from jail a District of Columbia police officer charged with threatening to kidnap or injure his girlfriend.
Federal prosecutors say that after the threat earlier this week, Calvin Willis put on a uniform and persuaded officers who responded to leave. Assistant U.S. Attorney Kenya Davis said at a preliminary hearing Friday that those officers’ actions are under investigation.
