Univision denied accusations that Harris was using a teleprompter during Thursday’s town hall with the Spanish network.

Prominent conservative commentators including Benny JohnsonCharlie KirkGreg Price, and Fox News host Sean Hannity made posts on X accusing the vice president of reading off a teleprompter. They included a clip of Harris speaking in the direction that a teleprompter was operating.

However, the moderators of the town hall Enrique Acevedo, and the president of Univision News, Daniel Coronell, said this was not true. They stated that the teleprompter seen in the video had Spanish text meant for Acevedo.

Acevedo and Coronell made their posts debunking the claims on Thursday evening, but with the exception of Hannity, the other conservative commentators have not deleted their posts.
