D.C. police are investigating a fatal shooting in Northeast Washington.
Around 10 p.m. Monday, police responded to a report of a shooting in the 1300 block of Bryant Street NE and found a man suffering from an apparent gun shot wound. The man was taken to a hospital where he died several mintues later, police said.
Police have not yet released the identity of the victim. The slaying was the 22nd homicide in D.C. this year, compared to 20 at this time last year.
