MSNBC’s Chris Hayes seems to think he does a better job writing press statements than House Republicans.
The “All in” host literally went all in with his child-like temper tantrum as he read – and revised – the statement by the House GOP leaders after their special immigration meeting yesterday. While Hayes referred to the statement as “passive aggressive, maybe even openly aggressive,” he showed no qualms in rewording it himself.
“The American people want our border secured, our laws enforced, but they don’t trust a Democratic-controlled Washington, and they’re alarmed by the president’s ongoing insistence on enacting a single, massive, Obamacare-like bill,” Hayes began reading, only paraphrasing slightly.
But that’s when the MSNBC host lost his patience and apparently his inability to read.
“Blah, blah, blah, we hate you, we hate your ass face,” Hayes continued, literally putting words in Republicans’ mouths.
House Republicans are fighting against the Senate’s Gang of Eight’s immigration plan and instead pressing for legislation which would strengthen the nation’s border security. In fact, some Republican leaders have been flying off the cuff with their comments over the debate.
