Fox News beats CNN, MSNBC combined in prime-time viewers last week

Fox News’ prime-time audience last week was larger than that of MSNBC and CNN combined.

Fox News’ prime-time lineup of Tucker Carlson, Sean Hannity, and Laura Ingraham averaged an audience of 2,260,000 viewers from June 10 to 16, according to Nielsen Media Research. They also had an average viewer base of 315,000 in the key 25 to 54 age demographic.

Fox News’ prime-time lineup finished first among all basic cable networks.

Comparatively, MSNBC, which finished second to Fox News, had an audience of 1,513,000 people with 192,000 people in the demographic.

CNN had an average of 744,000 viewers tune into their prime-time programs, which slotted them in as the 14th most-watched basic cable network in the prime-time hours.

Combining the two networks brings them to a total audience of 2,257,000 people, which falls just short of Fox News.
