Debate on the House floor broke down into yelling after Rep. Jerry Nadler said Rep. Louie Gohmert was parroting Russian talking points.
“I’m deeply concerned that any member of the House would spout Russian propaganda on the floor of the House,” Nadler said on Wednesday during floor debate. After giving his speech, Gohmert rushed back to the podium to shout at Nadler.

The 66-year-old congressman asked the New York Democrat to take his accusation off the official record. The chair told the Texas Republican to “come to order” and ignored his request.
Gohmert claimed in his speech against impeachment that Ukraine had interfered in the 2016 election, which caused Nadler to make his accusation. House Democrats are expected to impeach Trump by the end of Wednesday.
