Former White House aide Omarosa Manigault Newman says she can’t reveal more about the tape recordings she made while working on the Trump campaign and in the White House, even as she released another secretly recorded conversation.
Manigault Newman appeared on “The View” Monday to release another audio clip, in which Trump is heard talking about rival Hillary Clinton and the Russia investigation.

Co-host Whoopi Goldberg asked Manigault Newman how she was able to secretly record the president and White House staffers, but Manigault Newman said she was unable to give more details, citing arbitration proceedings with the president’s legal team over her alleged violation of a nondisclosure agreement.
“They want to shut me down,” she said, adding that her lawyer received a call from Trump’s legal team when they heard she’d be appearing on the talk show.

Trump’s presidential campaign filed for arbitration last month after she released her tell-all book about her time working for the president. Manigault Newman said she signed a confidentiality agreement when she worked for the campaign, but refused to sign one while employed in the White House.
Manigault Newman argued Monday that a nondisclosure agreement cannot be enforced when she is “coming forward to expose corruption.” The corruption, she said, was President Trump’s daughter-in-law Lara Trump offering her $15,000 a month to work for the re-election campaign after she was fired from the administration.
Manigault Newman said last month that she interpreted the offer as essentially hush money to not say anything negative about the president.
